Commercial projects by our Small Works Team
In addition to it’s residential work, over this summer, our Small Works Team completed projects for a church, a school and a housing association.
For the Fairfield Infant School in Felixstowe the team refurbished two bell towers which required timber repairs, glazing and painting, all in-keeping with the historic character of the building.
For a local housing association, the team adapted a home to improve the lives of a family with changing needs. The work included a rear extension to provide an accessible bedroom with an adjacent wet room and wide doors.
For the Rendlesham Parochial Church Council, the team was commissioned to conduct restoration and repairs to the fabric of the Grade 2 listed St Gregory the Great church in Rendlesham. The work involved stripping tired render from external walls and re-rendering using traditional materials in accordance with the ancient heritage of the building.
