Eight Farmstead Holiday Lodges

Install road infrastucture and services, build lodges, create bespoke kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms including casting basins and worktops

It is rare that our projects start with a completely blank canvas but this was the case with the development of holiday lodges at Easton.

Starting with a green field, we first installed the car park and road infrastructure and services to the locations for six buildings of three different configurations. We also installed sitewide irrigation piping to help keep it green.

The timber-framed buildings were clad in scaffold boards which were also used for floors and fittings. We sourced over 7000 new scaffold boards for the project but to add character, many of these were exchanged with local scaffolding companies for slightly used boards.

Our joinery workshop made bespoke oak doors and window frames for all the buildings and also built beds with draws, fitted kitchens and shelving systems for each unit.

Working to photographs supplied by the project’s interior designer Angie Ashley Design, we cast bespoke concrete sinks and smooth worktops and installed distinctive industrial copper and brass open plumbing.
