Historic Bury St Edmunds Refurb

We recently completed work on the refurbishment of the ancient cellars of the Angel Hotel, Bury St Edmunds.

It sent a shiver down our backs to think of the lives of the builders who constructed the cellar in the 12th-century. Many of them probably also worked on the construction of the cathedral across the road. None of them will have anticipated the cellars becoming a venue for receptions and events in the 21st Century!

We replaced flooring, cleaned original stonework, installed a new bar co-ordinating many different specialist trades and all in a very quick turn-around.
