Stowe support for new children and young people’s hub

Proposals for a new centre for children and young people in Woodbridge have been announced.

Behind the scenes, Stowe have been supporting the charity, Just42, to develop its proposals for a purpose-built centre on land at Jetty Lane, Woodbridge. Alongside architect Scott Mortimer, we have advised on practical aspects of the proposal finding creative ways to help keep construction costs down. Our joinery workshop made a 3D model of the proposed Centre which will be on display at the site on 19th/20th April and at subsequent planning consultations and fundraising events.

Andrew Stowe, (Managing Director) said “It is a pleasure to be able to help the Jetty Lane project which is such a positive initiative for children and young people in the Woodbridge area”.

The charity will soon be launching a fundraising campaign and planning application to move the project towards completion in the next couple of years.

The charity said, “This exciting new arrangement will create a partnership between an employee-owned company, the charity sector and the local authority for the benefit of the wider community.”
